Emergency?
There is an emergency service in The Hague for dental assistance outside regular practice hours, in which all dentists in and around The Hague participate. This emergency service operates in the evenings and on weekends, and on generally recognized public holidays. The emergency service is intended for assistance in real emergencies, such as an accident or after-bleeding. You can also call the emergency department for severe toothache.
The emergency service
The emergency service is available by phone on working days after 4 p.m. and during the weekend at 0900-8602. You will then be informed who the dentist on duty is. Usually, the dentist on duty has a consultation hour and you are requested to report.
Please note that the emergency or weekend treatment must be paid in cash. You must also bring a valid insurance card. For treatments during the evening and / or the weekend, a statutory surcharge applies on the invoice.
